Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before you continue with your order.

Please fill in your address details clearly and accurately. If using the auto-fill function on your computer/phone/tablet, please ensure it has filled the address correctly. XTX Air will not be responsible if a parcel gets lost or delayed due to an error in the address that you supplied. Please also use capital letters and spaces where appropriate.

If you do not live in the UK and the eShop is not offering you a postage option then please feel free to get in touch with me for a quotation for postage. The default postage options for people outside the UK are limited, this is because the eShop software is not able to calculate international postage/shipping properly. 

Shipping is not free, unless the item is listed with free shipping. If you select "collect in person" as the shipping method, please ensure you are actually coming to collect your order, if not there may be a delay in your order being processed and/or your order will be cancelled. 

Unfortunately Royal Mail have recently made the postage options more complicated and the eCommerce package I use struggles to make sense of it.

In a nutshell:

- If you want your action posted back next day and insured to £500 (more insurance can be added for additional cost) then please select Special Delivery. The maximum length of a parcel sent via Special Delivery is 610mm, any longer and it has to be sent via Parcel Force Express 48. You can send tubes/rolls (carpet roll or plastic soil pipe) up to 900mm in length via Special Delivery.

- If your box is longer than 610mm, then please select Parcel Force Express 48 (this option only has £100 compensation/insurance, even if you pay for enhanced compensation) (rifles can only be sent Express 48, not Express 24, no idea why but that is a Parcel Force rule).

- If you are buying small parts that will fit in an envelope less than 25mm thick and under 100g (magazines, dust plugs etc) you can select Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For - Large Letter or 1st Class standard - Large (this option is not tracked or signed for and is used at your own risk. I will not be liable/responsible if your parts do not arrive).

- If you are buying very small parts that are not more than 5mm thick and not more than 100g (like O rings) then you can select Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For - Small Letter or 1st Class standard (this option is not tracked or signed for and is used at your own risk. I will not be liable/responsible if your parts do not arrive).

- Items larger/thicker than 25mm (like pressure gauges and BBK adaptors) are sent as a Royal Mail Tracked 48 or Tracked 24. This is a tracked service and offers better tracking that the normal first and second class services from Royal Mail.

You will notice that my prices are slightly higher than the Royal Mail prices, this is to cover the PayPal fees, to contribute towards the cost of labels & packaging materials, the time it takes to wrap up the parcels & process the parcels.

I have to send everything Recorded/Signed For when they have been paid for via PayPal. If the parcel goes missing in the post and you lodge a claim with PayPal, they will deduct the money from my account unless I can prove it has been posted, hence Recorded/Signed For/Tracked delivery on everything. You can however select standard non-tracked postage on small items but you do so at your own risk, if the part goes missing or gets damaged in the post I will not be held responsible and PayPal will not refund you if it goes missing.

Please note that if you select the cheapest option with little or no insurance/compensation then I will not be held responsible if it goes missing or gets damaged in the post, you do so at your own risk.

By using the eShop or XTX Air services you agree that you are legally old enough to buy/own the product/s you have selected.

By using the eShop or the XTX Air services you agree that you don't have a criminal conviction or any other restriction that prevents you from buying/owning the product/s or services you have selected.

In the case of international orders, you agree that you have checked that the product/s you have ordered are legal to import/own/use in your country. I will not be held responsible for you breaking the laws in your country.

Orders are processed on a first come, first served basis, there is no guaranty your order will go out on the day you place your order. I do my best to pick and pack orders on the same day the order is placed and paid for but some items may need to be set up or machined to suit your particular rifle, which may add a day or 2 to the process. I try to process orders that come in over the weekend or on bank holidays on the first working day after the weekend/holiday but there is no guaranty your order will go out on this day. I only post out orders when Royal Mail are able to collect, which is typically Monday to Friday, except bank holidays, severe weather or industrial action, please bear this in mind when placing the order. The delivery times quoted in the checkout are the actual delivery times quoted by Royal Mail, they do not take into account the time it takes to pick, build, set, test and pack the order. 

I use Royal Mail Online Business Mail service for most parcels. If you have selected a Tracked Service when placing your order, you should receive an email from the eShop confirming your order, which is also your receipt. Once Royal Mail have collected your parcel from me and added your parcel to their system, you should then receive another email from the eShop saying your parcel has been dispatched, containing the tracking info (if you have selected a tracked service). You should also receive an email or text from Royal Mail on the day of delivery to say it is going to be delivered and then again once it has been delivered (if you have selected a tracked service). If your parcel has not arrived in the time Royal Mail say it should please feel free to get in touch with Royal Mail using your tracking number to chase them up, once it is in the Royal Mail system it is out of my control, I can only tell you what the tracking info on their website says. 

If for some reason the Online Business Mail service is not working then I use the Royal Mail "Drop and Go" service for small parcels, which means I don't get any tracking numbers on the day I post the items. I pick up the tracking numbers the next time I drop off parcels at the post office, by which time most of you will already have your parcels. I also can't update the tracking information in PayPal and the eShop on time because of the Drop & Go service. If your parcel has not arrived in the time Royal Mail say it should (remembering I only post Monday to Friday), please feel free to get in touch and I will give you the tracking number.

If you are sending me your rifle/action, please print out a worksheet, fill it in and include it in your parcel, it lets me know what you would like done and where to send it back to (there are links to the worksheet in a number of places on the website). Don't forget to book in your rifle before sending it in to avoid a long wait.

If you have any particular preferences, that are not listed for some parts, like a regulator pressure setting, please make a note in the "note to seller" box in the checkout procedure or send an email with your requirements to: sales@xtxair.com

From time to time products may be sold out but the eShop may show them in stock, if something you have bought is not actually in stock then I will contact you as soon as possible to let you know. I will either refund your money or make arrangements to get you your product as soon as it becomes available.

By proceeding with your order you agree with the terms and conditions above, if you do not agree with the terms and conditions please do not order anything from me.

Should something go wrong I will do my best to resolve the matter as quickly and painlessly as possible. Please have a look at the Returns Policy in the eShop for more detailed information.
