BSA Power/Hammer Spring Adjustment Tool
This is a little tool that helps to adjust your hammer spring pre-load of your BSA R-10, Ultra, Scorpion or Hornet, to make power adjustments to your rifle after fitting a regulator etc. It will work in the newer type rifles, with the power adjuster with a flat slot in it, not the early Ultras and Hornets with a hex adjuster.
The tool fits into a standard 1/4" magnetic bit holder (not supplied), which most people have in their tool kits at home. Something like this http://www.screwfix.com/p/erbauer-screwdriver-bit-handle-hex-shank/26781
Please note, this tool was made for people who want to keep their rifles legal, not for idiots to turn the power up over the legal limit. Keep it below 12ftlbs unless you have your rifle on FAC or the laws in your country allow you to have higher powered rifles.
You use this tool at your own risk, I will not be held responsible for damage to your rifle if you do not use the tool properly. The tool was made to allow power adjustments to be made to BSA rifles, it is not intended to be used as an actual (massive) screw driver.
There is a good chance you will have an anti-tamper cap covering your hammer spring adjuster, this will need to be removed before you can make power adjustments. I do offer a tool for making the anti-tamper removal much easier.
There is a video on my YouTube channel to show how to use the tool.
The rifles and tool holders in the pictures are for reference, they are not included in the sale.
